The ISTQB® Advanced Level Test Analyst (CTAL-TA) certification is designed to provide professionals with advanced skills in software testing. It covers a deep understanding of the test analyst’s role and responsibilities throughout the software development lifecycle, enhancing competencies in test analysis, design, execution, and risk-based testing. Learning Objective
Upon completing the Advanced Level Test Analyst certification, candidates will be able to:

Recertification
The CTAL-TA certification does not require recertification. However, ISTQB® encourages professionals to pursue other advanced certifications in the Core, Agile, or Specialist streams to continue advancing their expertise in software testing.
Eligibility
- Prerequisite: Candidates must hold the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification.
- Experience: Practical experience in software testing is required. Please consult with an ISTQB® Member Board or Exam Provider to determine the specific experience criteria necessary for exam eligibility.
