The Certified Calibration Technician (CCT®) is a highly skilled professional responsible for testing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical, and electronic measuring instruments. This certification validates expertise in ensuring equipment meets established standards, enhancing accuracy and reliability in industrial and scientific applications.
CERTIFICATION BODY : The CCT certification is issued by the American Society for Quality (ASQ)

Re-Certification
- Frequency:
- Recertification is required every three years.
- Options:
- Earn 18 recertification units (RUs) and submit a journal.
- Retake and pass the CCT certification exam.
Eligibility
Candidates must have five years of work experience in calibration-related fields.
Educational waivers include:
- Technical/Military/Trade School Diploma – 2 years waived
- Associate’s Degree – 2 years waived
- Bachelor’s Degree – 2 years waived
- Master’s or Doctorate – 2 years waived
