TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Dear Student

Thank you for choosing CMTI to enrich your knowledge and enhance your career. We are committed to providing you with the best learning experience possible. To ensure a collaborative and amicable learning environment, please take a moment to review the terms and conditions outlined for the delivery of our courses.   • 1. Attendance Requirement:
    • Students must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance to qualify for the course completion certificate.
    • Students failing to meet the attendance requirement have the option to re-attend the course within a 12-month period, subject to slot / batch availability and batch allocation.
  • 2.Course Completion Certificate:
    • Certificate name will be as per the enrollment form.
    • Students must achieve a minimum score of 70% in an internal assessment test to qualify for the course completion certificate.
    • Upon satisfactory completion of the course, certificates will be issued within 7 business days.
    • Courier services for certificate delivery are available upon request, with associated charges borne by the student.
    • Unclaimed certificates will be retained for up to 12 months from the date of issue. After this period, a 10% course fee will apply for requests to reprint lost or unclaimed certificates.
    • Students must ensure all required personal information is provided accurately to receive their certificates.
    • Students are required to pay the KHDA certificate charges separately; these fees are not included in the course fee.
  • 3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
    • CMTI reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any course due to practical considerations, insufficient enrolment, local public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances such as acts of nature. In such cases, no refund of course fees will be provided.
    • Participants may request a 100% refund if they are unsatisfied with the trainer or training resources. This request must be submitted within three (3) hours of the start of the training session.
    • If a participant withdraws from the training after three (3) hours of the session, no refund will be applicable.
    • A registration fee equivalent to 10% of the course fee is non-refundable, remaining fee will be refunded. This applies whether the student cancels enrolment before the training begins.
    • Refunds for payments made by companies will be issued only to the company, not to individual participants.
    • If a participant is unsatisfied with the services provided, they must immediately exit all communication groups (including WhatsApp, email, or social media) and formally notify management of their decision to discontinue participation via email.
    • If a participant withdraws from the course after receiving course materials—whether via email, WhatsApp, LMS, or in hard copy, and whether in soft or physical format—no refund will be issued.
    • Payments made through Tabby or other instalment/easy payment plans will be refunded only after completion of the payment plan period, subject to approval. Any applicable charges will be deducted.
    • For enrolments made under promotional offers, refunds (if applicable) will be calculated based on the original course price, not the discounted rate.
    • If a participant enrols in multiple courses at a discounted price, no refund will be provided for any course not attended.
    • No refunds will be issued to individuals who have not commenced the training. However, participants may reschedule and attend the course within 6 months from the original course start date. After the one-year period, neither rescheduling nor refunds will be permitted.
    • The refund processing period is one (1) month from the date the refund request is received.
  • 4.Training Resources
    • CMTI shall provide only those training materials that are expressly required for the program and specifically committed during the enrollment process.
    • No additional, supplementary, or substitute materials shall be provided beyond those expressly stated.
    • Access to recorded training sessions is strictly excluded from the scope of services unless explicitly stated in writing by CMTI.
    • All training materials provided by CMTI are confidential and proprietary. Participants shall not copy, distribute, reproduce, or share such materials, in whole or in part, with any third party. Any unauthorized sharing or misuse of the materials shall constitute a material breach of these terms, and CMTI reserves the right to levy a penalty equal to three (3) times the applicable course fee, without prejudice to any other legal remedies available.
    • 5. Course Fee & Examination Fee
      • Where a candidate has paid the course fee but has not commenced the course, such fee shall remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of payment. Upon expiry of this period, the candidate shall be required to pay the full prevailing course fee in order to enroll. No refunds shall be issued for failure to commence the course.
      • Examination and membership fees shall be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of payment. Under no circumstances shall examination or membership fees be refunded.
      • CMTI reserves the right to revise examination and membership fees at any time. Any such revisions made within the validity period shall be applicable to candidates who have already paid the fees, and the revised fees shall be binding.
    • 6. Grievance and Escalation Procedure
      • Any participant who is dissatisfied with the services provided shall submit a written complaint via email to info@chicagomti.com.
      • If no response is received within three (3) working days from the date of submission, the participant shall escalate the matter by contacting CMTI through its official contact numbers: 050 245 9498 or 04 354 7997.
      • If the complaint remains unresolved for a further three (3) working days following such escalation, the participant may escalate the matter to the appropriate regulatory or statutory authorities.
      • Prior to the completion of the above-mentioned grievance and dispute resolution process, participants shall refrain from posting, publishing, or communicating any complaints, allegations, or remarks relating to CMTI or its services on social media platforms or in any public forum.
