EXAM INFORMATION:
- Duration: 2 hours and 45 minutes (plus 30 minutes administration time)
- Format: Computer-based exam
- Venue: Pearson VUE testing center or OnVUE at home or office
- Total Questions: 140 (115 scored questions, mostly multiple-choice, and 25 pretest questions)
RE CERTIFICATION:
- Validity Period: SPHRi certification remains valid for three years after testing.
- Recertification Criteria: To maintain SPHRi credential, candidates must:
- Earn 45 HR and 15 Business re certification credits over three years.
- Accumulate a total of 60 credits within the recertification period.
- Alternatively, retake the exam if recertification requirements are not met.

Requirements
- Experience Requirement:
Hold at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR role and a master’s degree or its global equivalent.
Alternatively, possess a minimum of five years of experience in a professional-level HR position along with a bachelor’s degree or its global equivalent.
Alternatively, have at least seven years of experience in a professional-level HR position. - Knowledge of Local Employment Laws:
SPHRi candidates must demonstrate documented knowledge of local employment laws.
