LEARNING OBJECTIVE: Upon successful completion of the LEED AP® ND training program, candidates will:
- Gain advanced knowledge in sustainable neighborhood development and green building practices.
- Understand the LEED® ND rating system, including its prerequisites and credits.
- Be equipped to lead and contribute to the development of environmentally responsible and resilient communities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in integrating sustainable strategies within the neighborhood development process.
EXAM INFORMATION:
- Format: 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Administration: Available at Prometric testing centers or online via remote proctoring.
- Prerequisite: LEED® Green Associate credential is required or can be taken concurrently with the AP® exam.
- Fee: A fee is required for the exam.
RE CERTIFICATION:
- Renewal Period: Every 2 years.
- Requirements:
- Earn 30 continuing education credits.
- Pay a recertification fee.
- Adhere to GBCI’s Credential Maintenance Program (CMP) guidelines.

Requirements
