The Business Continuity and Resiliency Professional (BCRP®) is an internationally recognized certification offered by the National Institute of Business Continuity Management (NIBCM®). This certification acknowledges professionals who are skilled in applying best practices in business continuity and resiliency planning, ensuring that organizations can effectively manage disruptions and maintain operational integrity.

Learning Objectives
Upon completing the BCRP® certification program, candidates will:
- Understand the principles of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and its importance for organizational survival and resilience.
- Learn how to initiate, plan, and execute effective Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
- Gain knowledge of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Master the process of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), including identifying key recovery objectives (RTO & RPO).
- Develop strategies for crisis communication, risk management, and third-party risk management.
Exam Information
- Exam Format: 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Passing Score: Minimum of 70% required
Recertification
- Year 1: Free
- Year 2 Onwards: A $50 USD annual renewal fee applies, starting from the second year of certification. This ensures that professionals remain current with the latest BCM standards and practices.

Requirements
- Course Pathway: Complete the BCM-901 course, which is considered equivalent to 2 years of on-the-job BCM experience.
- Experience Pathway: For those not taking the course, candidates must demonstrate at least two years of verifiable experience in business continuity planning using ISO 22301 standards.
