Requirements
- Education/Healthcare Experience:
- Baccalaureate Degree: Individuals must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, coupled with five years of experience within a healthcare setting or with a provider of services to the healthcare industry.
- Associate Degree: Alternatively, candidates with an associate degree or equivalent from an accredited college need seven years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting or with a provider of services to the healthcare industry.
- High School Diploma: Those with a high school diploma or equivalent must demonstrate nine years of experience in a healthcare setting or with a provider of services to the healthcare industry.
- Risk Management Experience:
- Qualifying Hours: Candidates must have accumulated 3,000 hours or dedicated 50 percent of their full-time job duties within the last three years to healthcare risk management.
- Scope of Experience: This experience can be gained within a healthcare setting or with a provider of services, such as consultants, brokers, or attorneys, within the healthcare industry.
