The Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential has the following recertification information:
The CMCI, Certification Construction Manager credential is valid for three years. To renew, current certification holders must pay renew fee and either retake the exam or attain 25 Renewal Points (RP).
Requirements
- Education and/or Experience
- Option 1: A four-year degree from an accredited instutition and four years of Responsible In Charge (RIC) work experience as a construction manager.
- Option 2: A two-year degree from an accredited institution, four years of experience in general design or construction, and four years of RIC work experience as a construction manager.
- Option 3: Eight years of experience in general design or construction and four years of RIC work experience as a construction manager.
- Other
- Candidate must submit a professional resume along with educational documentation, such as a copy of a degree or an official transcript. If experience is being used in lieu of the educational requirements, additional documentation will be required.
- Candidate must submit a qualification matrix for each project experience and at least one reference per project. A minimum of two references is required for CMCI to contact via email.
