CERTIFICATION BODY:
The CCM® certification is provided by the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC®). It’s accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA®), making it widely recognized and respected in healthcare and related fields.
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
The primary objective of the CCM® training program is to prepare candidates to excel in the CCM® examination by providing comprehensive knowledge of the following domains:

Format:
- 180 multiple-choice questions (150 scored, 30 pretest)
- 3 hours to complete

RECERTIFICATION:
- CCM® certification is valid for five years.

Requirements
- Licensure/Certification: Hold a current, active, and unrestricted license or certification in a health or human services discipline (e.g., RN, LCSW, CRC) OR possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Work Experience: Candidates must have at least 24 months of full-time case management experience, 12 months of full-time case management experience under the supervision of a CCM, or 12 months of experience supervising individuals providing case management services.
- Character: Candidates must demonstrate good moral character consistent with the CCMC Code of Professional Conduct.
